Another release due soon, The Roses, is a remake of a movie classic from the 90's The War of the Roses. Set in Salcombe and specifically The Winking Prawn bistro at North Sands, the testing and tearing apart of a married couples life played by Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Colman in the lead roles. The original novel in the 1980's went on to be a huge movie hit and this remake will be sure to catch attention and generate more interest in the sleepy estuary villages in the South Hams around Salcombe.
