A day dedicated to capturing Dartmoor landscapes in the varied
and challenging conditions it sometimes presents. All year round availability as some of the best conditions are late in the calender.
Inspiring vistas and enchanting woodlands, Stunning river valleys as
well as mysterious ancient Bronze Age sites and secluded waterfalls.
Dartmoor is one of the UKs last wilderness locations and to photographers and artists alike, it is a wealth of inspiration.
Visiting a select number of locations that suit the weather and conditions to collect and capture imagery that will stir the senses and intrigue viewers.
Locations such as Bowermans Nose, Brentor Church, Great Tor Rocks, Merrivale, Down Tor stone row and maybe, Wistmans Wood.
All levels of experience welcome. I am more of a location than kit expert and I am experienced in most systems.
Compositional tuning, managing the light, exposure techniques and
in all everything that we need to capture Dartmoor's many moods.
Open to sketchers, painters, artists of all mediums, but pack
sensibly as some locations are a fair trek.
