Wow, that was a busy season.....especially September and October! ESW Tours has enjoyed delivering inspiring tour itineraries to overseas guests in all areas of the South West of England, the Cotswolds, the New Forest and even Wales! Wales is not somewhere I usually deliver tours as it is a fair distance from my familiar patch, however, when some previous tour guests ask if I can deliver this inspiring country for them, how can I refuse... It was an amazing week that drew the multi day touring period that is Sept/Oct to an epic close. They sadly missed out on their touring itinerary in late Oct last year in 2024 due to a severe storm that ripped across the UK with red level safety warnings. Roads, routes and attractions all locked down and my guests were hunkered down in a castle in Abergavenny. When in Wales caught in a storm there are plenty of castles to go round, around six hundred in fact! This particular tour was weather event free and if anything the conditions were almost perfectly complimenting the autumnal colours we were experiencing. A London start, drifting up through the south Cotswolds for a couple of days before heading in the Brecon Beacons, the first of our National Park regions to immerse ourselves in. A beautiful highland region with some amazing scenery, mountains, rolling hills and in the clear, still weather, some incredible views for miles. Pembrokeshire's Coast beckoned and we spent a few days in a village on the North coast of this fascinating and very picturesque area. Empty sweeping beaches, dramatic cliff and coastal walks, colourful fishing harbour towns and picture postcard locations around every corner. The finale of the week was Snowdonia and wow, did it deliver. Incredible cloud inversion on Snowdon itself, mountain-scapes that rivaled ones I've seen in Norway as well as the amazing autumn colours to compliment the scenery. Just inspiring. Our final journey was back through Stratford On Avon for some Shakespeare and the North Cotswolds to finish before we headed back to London. If you don't go, you'll never know.... Since the tail end of August and into September and October, the trusty ESW Tours vehicle covered nearly ten thousand miles! But what a journey we have had and with amazing guests, heading to incredible locations, delivering the very best of the UK to truly international visitors from many corners of the planet. I still have a few more tours to deliver in November and even December so no rest just yet! Here's to a similar 2026 season. Get in touch and lets build your itinerary and book those dates soon before the diary fills up!
